Case Management continues to coordinate resources and volunteer help to ensure fairness and prevent duplication of services for those households affected by the 2014 Boles Fire. LTRG staff is available by appointment at the LTRG office located upstairs from the library at 150 Alamo for those who would like to check in on any outstanding needs resulting from the Boles Fire. LTRG Volunteer Coordinator Brenda Duchi reports that there is a team of 12 from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut volunteering this week. They will be working at three homes, the Habitat house, and starting two more houses in the week they will be here. Next week Dominican University in NY will come with a team of 10, followed immediately by Eastern Washington University. These people will continue the work started today. The Weed Rotary sponsored Habitat House is now underway. The volunteer group was setting the strings and bat boards for the foundation this week. The Rotary Club plans to have a ground breaking the later part of this week or early next week.

Upcoming meetings The LTRG meets next on Tuesday, March 14th at 2 pm in the new conference room at Great Northern Services, 310 Boles Street (note location change). These meetings are open to the public. Monthly meetings will resume on the second Tuesday of the month. The Executive Committee will continue to meet to consider any Disaster Relief Fund or United Way funding requests as they come up.
