This update is over 30 days old.

The City of Weed has been gathering firewood rounds from its property affected by the Boles Fire and they are ready to distribute over 150 cords of firewood rounds at Lobis Field near the Weed High School on the dates indicated below.

Please note! Survivors will have to provide their own transportation of the firewood to and from their home and Lobis Field and arrange for splitting the wood on their own. Distribution is on a first come - first served basis and recipients will need to show their fire card.

The next dates are as follows: Tuesday, February 17th 8 AM - 3 PM Thursday February 19th 8 AM - 3 PM

If there is left over wood at the end of these four dates then distribution will open up to the general public. For more information, call the Family Community Resource Center of Weed at 938-9914, Mon-Thurs 9 AM - 4 PM.
